As the largest union representing registered nurses and healthcare professionals within the state, their support signifies a crucial momentum for Benson's candidacy. Aaron McCormick, the MNA president, asserts that nurses are the backbone of the healthcare industry and underscores the need for leadership that genuinely advocates for their interests.
What Makes Jocelyn Benson Stand Out?
Benson’s track record as Secretary of State has been notable. Her commitment to expanding ballot access and advocating for pro-worker policies have garnered her the respect and trust of the MNA and other unions across Michigan. McCormick emphasized, “Jocelyn Benson has proven she won’t fold under pressure.
