The event will take place at Fedder’s Alley on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., or until supplies last—an opportunity for residents to gather and ensure everyone has a hearty meal during this festive time.

Initially, the city planned to distribute 500 boxes of meals. However, a generous contribution from Phoenix Construction allowed an increase to 800 boxes. The meal kits are thoughtfully prepared to include hams and an array of side dishes such as mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, and desserts, ensuring that families can enjoy a full holiday feast.

Residents seeking assistance are encouraged to participate in the drive-through event. To collect a meal, proceed to the main gate at Washington Park, turn right, and drive past the Michigan City Senior Center to reach Fedder’s Alley.
